Key Responsibilities

1. KNX Programming & CommissioningProgram and configure KNX actuators, sensors, keypads, thermostats, dimmers, and gateways using ETS. Create and manage group addresses, communication objects, scenes, and automation logic. Conduct functional testing for lighting circuits, blinds, HVAC integration, and room-level automation. Troubleshoot KNX communication issues, device addressing errors, and wiring conflicts.


2. Installation & On-Site ExecutionInstall KNX modules, actuators, power supplies, and related control hardware. Perform wiring checks, load validation, and panel-level testing before programming. Ensure clean installation practices, proper termination, and compliance with wiring diagrams. Support integration of HVAC FCUs, energy management devices, and third-party interfaces.


3. Multi-System ExposureAssist with configuration and testing across lighting, shading, GRMS logic, and HVAC controls. Work alongside senior engineers or project teams on systems such as Dynalite, DALI, Lutron, or Control4 when required. Participate in end-to-end project execution including installation, testing, handover, and post-deployment support.


4. Documentation & ReportingPrepare addressing tables, wiring logs, commissioning checklists, and room-wise validation sheets. Maintain and update ETS project files. Record on-site observations, device configurations, and final project documentation for handover.


5. Client & Team CoordinationCoordinate with electrical contractors, architects, PMC teams, and internal engineering teams. Provide support during client demos, training sessions, and system handovers. * Escalate technical issues appropriately and ensure timely communication on project progress.
