We are looking for an

NPD Specialist - Knitwear & Denim

to support end-to-end product development across these key categories.
This role focuses on

silhouette research, fabric/yarn selection, sampling coordination, and fit improvements

, ensuring every product aligns with SAADAA's aesthetics and customer expectations.
Ideal for someone with

3-6 years of experience

, this position blends creativity with practical execution without requiring deep technical specialization.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Assist in product development for

knitwear and denim

, from idea to final sample approval. Conduct

trend and market research

to identify

new silhouettes, fabrics, and styling opportunities

. Coordinate

fabric, yarn, and trim selection relevant to knitwear basics and denim essentials

. Create and maintain

basic CAD sketches and tech packs

for sampling and production. Manage sampling timelines, fit trials, and revisions with internal and external teams. Visit mills and vendors to track sample status and resolve basic development challenges. Support costing discussions by providing material details, consumption inputs, and development insights. Work closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure smooth handover for launches. Maintain product

documentation, sample libraries, and development trackers

WHO YOU ARE

Bachelor's degree in

Fashion Technology, Knitwear Design, Textile Design

, or related fields.

3-6 years of experience

in apparel product development, preferably in knitwear or denim. Basic understanding of garment construction, fabrics, knit structures, and denim washes. Comfortable creating CADs, tech packs, and coordinating fit samples. Hands-on experience working with vendors, mills, and sampling units. Strong communication, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple developments simultaneously with clear timelines.
