A Kitchen Trainee assists the kitchen team in daily food preparation and kitchen operations while learning professional cooking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist chefs in basic food preparation (cutting, cleaning, marinating ingredients)
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area
Wash utensils, equipment, and workstations as per standards
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
Help in storing food items properly
Support the kitchen team during service hours
Learn cooking techniques and kitchen procedures under supervision
Requirements:
Basic knowledge or interest in cooking
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Ability to work in shifts
Good hygiene and cleanliness habits
Team player with a positive attitude
