Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Assist with scheduling, training, and onboarding of kitchen employees.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
Uphold sanitation standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with management to improve workflow, efficiency, and overall kitchen performance.
Address any kitchen-related issues or conflicts to maintain smooth operations.
Participate in menu planning, special events, and quality control when required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a supervisory or lead cook role (required).
Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification (preferred).
