Supervise daily kitchen operations and staff.
Ensure
portion control
is followed strictly according to costing standards.
Maintain
food quality, taste, and presentation
before service.
Implement and monitor
kitchen hygiene and safety standards
.
Conduct
opening and closing checklists
for kitchen.
Train, guide, and motivate staff to perform their duties efficiently.
Monitor inventory usage, avoid wastage, and update stock requirements.
Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager and Service Team for smooth operations.
Ensure kitchen equipment is cleaned, maintained, and reported for service if needed.
Prepare daily kitchen reports (production, wastage, stock usage).
Requirements
Minimum
2-3 years of experience
in a professional kitchen (supervisory experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of
food preparation, hygiene, and safety standards
.
Ability to
lead and manage a team
under pressure.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Problem-solving attitude and commitment to quality.
