to join our team. The Kitchen Steward will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen and dishwashing areas while supporting chefs and kitchen staff in their daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently.
Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal as per hygiene standards.
Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, and storage areas in the kitchen.
Assist chefs and kitchen team with basic food preparation and storage.
Operate dishwashing machines and maintain cleaning supplies.
Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Support smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher in hospitality preferred (freshers may also apply).
Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Physical stamina to stand for long hours and handle heavy utensils.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
