Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Assist in daily food preparation and basic cooking tasks under the guidance of chefs. Follow standardized recipes, portion sizes, and presentation requirements. Ensure consistency and quality in all dishes served. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, storage, and work areas. Wash, sanitize, and properly store utensils, equipment, and kitchen tools. Follow food safety, hygiene, and hotel sanitation standards (HACCP/FSSAI guidelines). Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.

Support to Chefs & Team

Assist chefs in chopping, cutting, marinating, garnishing, and plating. Replenish stock and ensure availability of ingredients during operations. Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely delivery of food.

Inventory & Stock Management

Check and store daily supplies, raw materials, and ingredients properly. Minimize food wastage through correct portioning and storage practices. Assist in stock rotation (FIFO method - First In, First Out).

Guest Satisfaction Support

Ensure food is prepared and served on time. Follow special dietary requirements or guest preferences as instructed by chef. Maintain professionalism and teamwork to deliver excellent guest experience.

Pay: Up to ₹14,000.00 per month
