Job Summary:



As a Kitchen Staff member at Elite Hotel, Khandala, you will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, and support the culinary team in delivering high-quality dining experiences to guests. You are expected to follow kitchen protocols, food safety standards, and uphold the reputation of Elite Hotel through professional and consistent performance.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist chefs in basic food preparation (e.g., chopping vegetables, prepping meats, making sauces). Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen areas including storage, prep zones, and workstations. Wash utensils, cookware, and equipment using appropriate cleaning methods. Ensure kitchen supplies are well-stocked and properly organized. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines as per hotel standards. Help in plating, garnishing, and delivering dishes as directed by chefs. Report any maintenance or inventory issues to the Kitchen Supervisor. Dispose of waste properly and support eco-friendly kitchen practices. Cooperate with team members and maintain a professional attitude under pressure.

Requirements:



Prior experience in kitchen or food service is preferred but not essential. Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene, safety, and handling of food. Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced, high-heat environment. Physically fit; able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods. Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn.

Working Conditions:



Shift-based role; may include weekends, public holidays, and evening hours. Work environment includes exposure to heat, moisture, and kitchen noise. Uniform and grooming standards as per hotel policy must be followed.

Preferred Qualifications:



Food Handling or Hygiene Certificate (optional but beneficial). Familiarity with basic Indian and Continental kitchen operations.

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
