Cleaning and sanitation:
Wash dishes, pots, and utensils; clean and sanitize work surfaces, equipment, and the kitchen area; and dispose of trash and recycling.
Stocking and organization:
Receive and store food deliveries, restock supplies, and organize food items according to food safety standards.
Kitchen maintenance:
Sweep and mop floors, empty bins, and maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and sometimes dining areas.
Support for chefs:
Assist chefs and cooks as needed, which can include tasks like plating, mixing ingredients, or preparing simple dishes.
