We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and proactive
Kitchen Operations Assistant (All-Rounder)
who can manage multiple tasks -- from ingredient shopping, cooking, and fermentation prep to packing and delivery.
The ideal candidate should have
basic knowledge of traditional fermented beverages
(like Ambali or millet-based drinks), food handling, and hygiene practices. You'll support the kitchen team in smooth day-to-day production and ensure quality and consistency in all Grasa products.
Purchase raw materials (grains, spices, fermentation cultures, etc.) as per list.
Maintain inventory and ensure ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Handle transportation and manage local vendor coordination.
2. Kitchen Preparation & Cooking
Assist in washing, cleaning, and preparing ingredients.
Support in cooking, grinding, and blending as per recipe instructions.
Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines at all times.
Help prepare and monitor
fermented items
-- ensure correct timing, cleanliness, and temperature.
3. Fermentation & Beverage Handling
Assist in the
fermentation process
for traditional beverages like Ambali*. Understand the basics of natural fermentation and maintain required conditions (time, temperature, cleanliness).
Keep detailed notes or timings for each batch.
Report observations or any unusual fermentation behavior to the product developer.
4. Packing & Labeling
Pack finished products neatly and professionally.
Label with correct batch, manufacturing, and expiry details.
Handle fragile bottles or containers carefully during packaging and delivery.
5. Delivery & Distribution
Deliver packed products to customers, stores, or event locations.
Ensure on-time delivery and safe handling of items.
Maintain delivery records and communicate updates to the team.
6. Cleaning & Organization
Keep kitchen and fermentation area clean at all times.
Sanitize equipment before and after each use.
Dispose of waste responsibly (wet, dry, recyclable segregation).
Skills & Qualities Required
Basic knowledge of
fermentation
and
traditional beverages
(millet drinks, probiotic foods preferred).
Good communication and teamwork.
Honest, punctual, and self-motivated.
Basic kitchen skills -- cooking, mixing, packing, labeling.
Physically fit and able to multitask.
Qualification & Experience
Minimum: 10th Pass or equivalent.
Experience: 1-3 years in a kitchen, food production, or beverage setup preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
