We are looking for a Kitchen Incharge and Student Coordinator to join our team.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Responsibilities pertaining to Kitchen:

Ability to manage kitchen staff, coordinate and supervise food preparation and cooking Very good understanding of the food needs of the children. Should be sharp, calculative and decisive. Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed and in the right quantities without wastage. Should follow up with vendors and suppliers and make sure that it has reached the kitchen on time. Should have knowledge on Government food safety compliances and should have proper methods to store food products in compliance with safety practices Maintain records, keep weekly and monthly cost reports and properly report it to the management and the accounts team. Should check and verify all bills against statements submitted by vendors. Ensure steps to maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area and instruct kitchen staff to follow the same. Should be available from 6.00 AM in the morning (on phone) to coordinate with the Chef and kitchen helpers.

Responsibilities pertaining to Students:

Must have immense care and patience in dealing with children / students who comes for using the canteen facilities and should be able to maintain positive and nurturing relationships with them Ensure that children are having their breakfast / lunch and that food is served adequately at all times. Should be aware of children's additional needs, such as allergies, special diets, etc.

Other responsibilities:

Should be open and able to perform other duties as instructed by the management.

QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:



Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Good English written and oral communication skills Capable of conducting and assessing canteen inventory Work timings will be from 7.30 AM - 4.30 PM. But should also be willing to work a flexible schedule. Experience with delegating tasks and maintaining fast speed of service Female candidates are preferred.
