Job Summary:
The Kitchen Helper supports the chefs and cooks in daily kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, proper food preparation, and smooth workflow. This role is essential for maintaining hygiene, speed, and quality in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in basic food preparation (cutting vegetables, cleaning meats, etc.)
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment
Wash dishes, plates, and cooking tools promptly
Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients
Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
Support chefs during peak hours
Dispose of waste properly and keep workstations organized
Help with packing, plating, and arranging food items
Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials
Report any maintenance or stock issues to the kitchen supervisor
Skills & Requirements:
Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Teamwork and good communication
Willingness to learn cooking basics
Physical stamina for standing long hours
Prior experience is an added advantage (not mandatory)
Working Hours: 10 hours
Salary: 12000/- to 18000/-
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹26,800.86 per month
