Job Title: Kitchen Helper - North Indian, Tandoor & Snacks
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated
Kitchen Helper
to support our chefs in a North Indian kitchen, with a focus on
Tandoor items
,
Indian snacks
, and daily food preparation. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Indian cooking practices, be familiar with ingredients used in North Indian cuisine, and be eager to learn more through hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in prepping ingredients for North Indian dishes (cutting vegetables, marinating meats, etc.)
Support the Tandoor chef in preparing items like naan, roti, kebabs, etc.
Help in preparing and plating Indian snacks such as samosas, pakoras, chaat, etc.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, workstations, and utensils
Handle dishwashing and waste disposal tasks as needed
Receive and store kitchen inventory properly
Follow hygiene and food safety protocols strictly
Assist in basic cooking tasks under supervision
Requirements:
Prior experience in an Indian kitchen (preferred, but not mandatory)
Basic knowledge of Indian spices and ingredients
Willingness to learn Tandoor and snack preparation techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
Work Environment:
Traditional Indian kitchen setting
Working with Tandoor ovens and deep fryers
Shift-based work, including weekends and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
