Role Overview:

As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll support the kitchen team in daily food preparation, cleanliness, and smooth kitchen operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring food is prepared efficiently, hygiene standards are maintained, and service runs seamlessly during busy hours. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in basic food preparation (cutting, prepping ingredients, assembling items). Support chefs/cooks during service hours. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, utensils, and workstations. Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment as required. Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies. Help with stock arrangement and inform management of kitchen requirements. Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Assist in closing/opening kitchen duties as per shift requirements.

Requirements:

Prior kitchen or restaurant experience preferred (freshers with willingness to learn can apply). Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physically fit and able to stand for long hours. Punctual, disciplined, and a team player. Willing to work in shifts, weekends, and peak hours.
