The Home Cook is responsible for preparing nutritious, tasty, and hygienic meals according to the household's preferences. This role includes menu planning, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen organization to ensure smooth daily meal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks according to the family's dietary preferences and requirements.
Plan weekly or monthly menus, considering nutrition, variety, and seasonal ingredients.
Shop for groceries and ingredients, ensuring quality and freshness.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, cooking utensils, and appliances.
Store food safely and manage kitchen inventory.
Adapt meals for dietary restrictions (allergies, health needs, etc.) if required.
Ensure meals are served on time and in an organized manner.
Assist in light household chores related to kitchen and dining areas.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a cook or home chef.
Knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and food hygiene standards.
Ability to manage time efficiently and multitask in the kitchen.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow recipes or cook creatively based on available ingredients.
