Job Description

BrightPath Playschool in Madipakkam is looking for a passionate and experienced Kindergarten Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in handling pre-primary children and must be enthusiastic, nurturing, and creative.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment. Use play-based techniques to support early learning. Assess and document student progress regularly. Maintain open and effective communication with parents. Assist in organizing school events, celebrations, and learning showcases. Collaborate with other teachers and management in administrative duties. Maintain classroom discipline and cleanliness.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a pre-primary, Montessori, or kindergarten setting. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Strong in storytelling, circle time, rhymes, and interactive learning. Ability to handle young children with patience and empathy. Basic administrative skills (record-keeping, attendance, etc.) Creativity in art & craft will be considered an added advantage.

Salary:

Based on experience and skillset

Working Days:

Monday to Friday (Saturdays occasionally for events/PTMs)

Timing:

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (timings may vary slightly)
