The Kindergarten Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations, curriculum planning, and overall performance of the kindergarten section. This role involves providing leadership, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, and supporting staff to deliver high-quality early childhood education
Key Responsibilities

Lesson Planning and Instruction
:
Leadership & Administration:
Lead and manage KG teaching staff, including teachers and assistants, ensuring effective classroom management.
Ensure adherence to safety, health, and regulatory standards for the well-being of children.
Curriculum Planning & Delivery:
Plan, develop, and oversee the implementation of age-appropriate educational programs and activities aligned with school curriculum and early childhood development standards.
Ensure a balance of play-based and structured learning activities that foster physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Teacher Support & Development:
Supervise and provide professional guidance to kindergarten teachers through coaching, mentoring, and regular performance reviews.
Identify and arrange professional development opportunities for staff to enhance teaching skills and methodologies.
Parental Engagement:
Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress and the school's policies and programs.
Address parental concerns and collaborate on strategies to support children's growth and learning at home.
Student Welfare & Development:
Monitor and assess children's individual progress and development, addressing learning or behavioral concerns proactively.
Foster an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued.
Operational Tasks:
Oversee classroom and resource management, ensuring all supplies, tools, and facilities are in optimal condition.
Collaborate with school administration on budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning for the kindergarten program.
Qualifications
:
Education
: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Teaching certification is preferred
Experience
: Prior experience of 6 to 8 years working with young children, in a preschool or kindergarten setting and 3+ successful years of leadership experience in KG Curriculum
Skills
:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children.
Lead and manage KG teaching staff, including teachers and assistants, ensuring effective classroom management.
Ensure adherence to safety, health, and regulatory standards for the well-being of children.
Knowledge of child development and early learning theories.
Proficiency in using educational technology and learning tools.
