Job Description

The Kindergarten Coordinator will oversee the academic and administrative functioning of the Kindergarten section, ensuring effective curriculum delivery, child-centric learning, and smooth coordination among teachers, parents, and school management. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a passion for early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

Plan, implement, and monitor the Kindergarten curriculum in alignment with the school's vision. Ensure age-appropriate teaching methodologies and child-friendly classroom practices. Guide teachers in lesson planning, activity design, and assessment strategies.

Staff Management

Mentor, supervise, and support Kindergarten teachers and assistants. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance teaching quality. Monitor classroom management and provide constructive feedback.

Student Development

Ensure holistic development of children--academic, social, emotional, and physical. Monitor student progress and address learning difficulties with remedial plans. Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young learners.

Parent Engagement

Maintain effective communication with parents through meetings, workshops, and feedback sessions. Address parental concerns promptly and professionally.

Administrative Duties

Prepare timetables, schedules, and activity plans for Kindergarten. Organize school events, celebrations, and co-curricular activities for Kindergarten. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and performance.
