Role Overview





As our

Key Account Manager

for India, you will be responsible for expanding and managing our food ingredients business with existing and new customers across key sectors including Bakery, Confectionery, Savory, and Meat.

You will drive business growth, build strong relationships, and identify new opportunities in line with Corbion's strategy in the Indian market.


You will be remotely (home office) based in the Delhi NCR, and you report to the Regional Director South Asia.

Key Responsibilities





Develop, manage, and grow business with assigned key accounts by offering best-fit Corbion solutions, driving customer loyalty, and achieving sales targets. Continuously assess, clarify, and address customer needs to maintain high satisfaction levels as per Corbion's standards. Build and maintain strong multi-level relationships across functions within key customer organizations. Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within existing accounts and with potential new customers. Lead business development activities for Food Solutions in India, in close collaboration with your line manager. Partner with global and regional marketing teams to introduce and implement new product concepts tailored to the Indian market. Manage the project pipeline for food applications in India. Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify and act on new growth opportunities. Collaborate closely with the South Asia and APAC Business Development teams to align strategies.

Profile Requirements





Minimum of

10 years' experience

in Key Account Management within the B2B

Food Ingredients

sector, preferably with leading multinational or regional food companies. Strong technical knowledge or background in Bakery applications is a plus. Bachelor's degree in

Food Science

,

Biotechnology

, or a related field. An MBA is an advantage but not mandatory. In-depth knowledge and understanding of the

Indian food market

and its dynamics. Experience in

concept and solution selling

. Strong communication skills -- fluent in spoken and written English. Proven ability to work effectively in a

matrix organization

. Customer-focused, proactive, and result-driven approach. A passionate and entrepreneurial mindset with excellent interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel extensively (50%+ travel across India).
