Job Title:
Key Account Manager - Modern Retail
Location:
Bangalore, India
Job Objective:
To manage and grow key modern retail accounts by driving sales, ensuring business sustainability, and achieving company objectives in the kitchen and home appliances category.
Key Responsibilities:
Key Account Management:
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key modern retail accounts (such as Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, Metro, Walmart, etc.) to ensure consistent business growth and product visibility.
Sales & Revenue Management:
Plan, forecast, and achieve sales targets as per the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for modern trade and institutional channels.
Business Development:
Identify and onboard new retail partners to expand the company's presence across regions and ensure seamless product availability and supply.
Account Performance Monitoring:
Track sales performance, new product placements, promotions, and collection status for each key account.
Customer Interface:
Act as a single point of contact for key retail customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, coordinate promotions, and manage operational efficiencies.
Strategic Planning:
Support implementation of company-wide sales and marketing initiatives to increase market share within the kitchen and home appliance category.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, supply chain, finance, and product teams to ensure timely deliveries, stock availability, and brand consistency.
Reporting & Analysis:
Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Proven experience in Key Account Management / Modern Trade Sales within the Kitchen & Home Appliances / Consumer Durables / Electricals manufacturing sector.
Strong negotiation, relationship management, and analytical abilities.
Experience handling large-format retail chains and modern trade partners.
Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
Strong business acumen with a customer-centric approach.

Head - Modern Trade / National Sales Head
Requirements
Experience:
7-10 years
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing (MBA preferred)
