Job Description

A Key Account Manager (KAM) in warehouse logistics builds and maintains relationships with major clients, acting as their primary point of contact for warehousing and supply chain needs. Their responsibilities include understanding client requirements, developing tailored logistics solutions, ensuring efficient service delivery, resolving operational issues, and identifying opportunities to expand business within those key accounts. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and strategic planning to guarantee client satisfaction and achieve revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

Establish and nurture long-term, high-value relationships with key clients in the logistics sector.

Needs Analysis & Solution Development:

Deeply understand clients' specific logistics requirements and design customized warehousing and supply chain solutions to meet their business goals.

Service Delivery Oversight:

Ensure the seamless, efficient, and timely delivery of warehousing, distribution, and other logistics services to key clients.

Performance Monitoring:

Track and analyze key account performance metrics, such as service levels, shipment volume, and revenue.

Issue Resolution:

Act as a central point for resolving client issues, coordinating with relevant internal teams to provide prompt and effective solutions.

Business Development:

Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling services, and expanding the scope of services provided to existing key accounts.

Strategic Planning:

Develop and execute account plans, strategies, and initiatives to maintain and grow revenue and market share within key accounts.

Internal Collaboration:

Work closely with various internal departments, including operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure integrated and satisfying client experiences.

Reporting:

Prepare regular reports on account performance, growth, and other relevant metrics for internal and client stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience

Logistics & Supply Chain Knowledge:

Familiarity with logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management is crucial.

Client-Facing Skills:

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships and resolving issues.

Analytical & Strategic Thinking:


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
