We are hiring for the "Key Account Manager" role.

Salary - Up to 45,000 PM - depends on experience

Experience - Min. 2 to 4 years in a similar role.

Location - Changodar, Ahmedabad (Transportation is not available)

The Key Accounts Manager - Modern Trade will be responsible for driving sales growth, account profitability, visibility, and strategic partnerships across key modern trade chains. You'll lead joint business planning (JBP), drive new product placements, manage promotions, and strengthen Kabhi B's presence across modern retail formats.

Key Responsibilities:



Account Management & Sales Growth

Own and grow revenue targets for modern trade chains across your assigned region.

Manage relationships with key retail accounts like Reliance, D-Mart, etc.

Drive assortment expansion and visibility across all categories (breads, cakes, snacks, gifting SKUs).

Business Planning

Lead annual and quarterly Joint Business Plans (JBP) and Terms of Trade (TOT) negotiations.

Align internal teams on deliverables, volume forecasts, promotions, and investments.

Identify and execute account-specific plans and category activations for festivals, campaigns, and new launches.

In-store Execution

Ensure high-level execution on visibility, planograms, merchandising, and stock availability.

Coordinate closely with third-party teams for in-store promoters, sampling activities, and audits.

Track and improve Fill Rates, On-Shelf Availability (OSA) and Sell-through.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

Monitor account-level sales performance, SKU-wise off take, and profitability.

Conduct monthly business reviews (MBRs) with retail partners and internal leadership.

Analyse competitor activity, customer insights, and retail trends to guide tactical decisions.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with supply chain, category, marketing, and finance to ensure smooth execution.

Partner with marketing teams on shopper marketing and trade marketing interventions.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree or MBA in Sales, Marketing, or related field.

2-4 years of experience in Key Account Management or Modern Trade Sales, preferably in FMCG or food industry.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to build senior-level retailer relationships and manage operational execution.

Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and sales data analysis tools.
