We are looking for a strong Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and grow strategic logistics supplier relationships. The role involves driving commercial growth, improving supplier performance, ensuring operational alignment, and enhancing long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Supplier Engagement
Manage key supplier accounts and build long-term strategic relationships.
Implement supplier engagement plans aligned with business strategy.
Drive supplier collaboration to improve service quality, innovation & delivery.
Commercial Growth
Identify and convert supplier-driven business opportunities.
Lead negotiations and secure favourable commercial terms.
Support revenue growth through supplier partnership programs.
Performance & Market Analysis
Monitor supplier performance across regions (sales, margins, service KPIs).
Analyse pipeline, trends and market dynamics for better decision-making.
Ensure supplier strategies support multi-region growth plans.
Financial & Operational Excellence
Achieve supplier-related revenue targets and margin improvements.
Secure rebates, incentives, and value-added agreements.
Work with Finance, Operations, HR & IT to ensure alignment.
Leadership & Coordination
Support senior leadership on strategic supplier initiatives.
Guide junior team members on supplier management practices.
Maintain strong internal stakeholder management.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or key account management.
Proven experience handling large strategic accounts/suppliers.
Strong negotiation, communication & stakeholder management skills.
Solid understanding of logistics operations, 3PL/4PL, and market dynamics.
Graduate/PG in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
