Function: Sales / Key Account Management
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and grow Modern Trade accounts for our client. The role involves driving sales growth, strengthening key customer relationships, executing trade strategies, and ensuring profitable business expansion across assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities -
Manage and grow key Modern Trade accounts (national/regional chains).
Drive primary and secondary sales, volume growth, and market share.
Develop and execute joint business plans (JBP) with key customers.
Negotiate commercial terms, promotions, listings, and visibility plans.
Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure smooth execution.
Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and inventory levels.
Analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
Ensure timely collections, adherence to budgets, and profitability targets.
Strengthen long-term relationships with key stakeholders at customer organizations.
Desired Candidate Profile -
Experience:
Minimum
5+ years of FMCG sales experience, with strong exposure to Modern Trade.
Industry Background:
Experience in
Food or Personal Care
categories is mandatory.
Education:
Any graduate; MBA is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies -
Strong negotiation and account management skills.
Proven ability to manage large-format retailers and MT chains.
Analytical mindset with strong planning and execution capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
