Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring high-quality service and timely communication.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to foster trust and business growth.
Understand client needs and provide tailored logistics and pricing solutions
Collaborate with shipping lines, vendors, and agents to obtain competitive freight rates.
Develop and implement customized pricing models aligned with client requirements and market trends.
Conduct financial evaluations and competitor analysis to support pricing decisions.
Ensure pricing compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Manage end-to-end communication related to shipments, documentation, and cargo status updates.
Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers to resolve client queries and service issues.
Ensure timely follow-ups and data reporting to clients.
Track and manage key account performance, ensuring KPIs related to service and pricing are met.
Identify areas for process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Generate reports on pricing, cost analysis, client feedback, and performance metrics for internal reviews.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum
7 to 10 years of experience
in a freight forwarding company, with strong exposure to both pricing and customer service functions.
Strong understanding of international shipping, freight rate negotiation, and logistics processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), email etiquette, and basic logistics software.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and work under pressure.
Strong organizational skills and a customer-centric approach.
Team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership.
