Job Summary:
The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Contract Manufacturing is responsible for
managing and growing relationships with key clients in the contract manufacturing
space. The role involves acting as the primary point of contact between the company
and clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving revenue growth. The KAM will
work closely with internal teams (such as operations, production, and finance) to
meet customer demands and foster long-term partnerships.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and strengthen relationships with key contract manufacturing clients.
2. Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of
customer satisfaction.
3. Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs,
expectations, and feedback.
4. Negotiation and renewal of manufacturing contracts, ensuring favourable
terms for both the company and the client.
5. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within current accounts.
6. Monitor and report on key account performance, including sales forecasts.
7. Collaborate with internal teams (production, supply chain, quality control,
R&D, and finance) to ensure the smooth execution of client orders and on-
time delivery.
8. Communicate and collaborate with plant team regarding quality deviations.
9. Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders at client companies,
understanding their business requirements as per company specifications.

11. Stay informed about industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activities
within the contract manufacturing sector.
12. Prepare regular reports on account performance, revenue projections, and

Qualification & Experience:
1. Education: BBA, BMM, B. Com, Engineering (Food/Dairy Technology), or a
related field or MBA.
Experience:
1. 5+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business
Development, preferably in contract manufacturing or a related industry.
