Job Title: Key Account Manager / Assistant Manager / Manager - Techno- Commercial Sales (Mining Industry)

Posi_on Overview:
We are seeking an experienced professional for the position of Techno-Commercial Sales Manager based in
Kolkata, specializing in mining consumables and accessories for mining equipment. The ideal candidate will
possess a strong blend of technical experience and commercial acumen, driving sales of wear & Tear parts and
consumables, specifically for surface miners, con(nuous miners, and road headers. The role requires interac(on
with private sector clients and OEMs to support opera(on efficiency while driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibili_es:
1. Techno-Commercial Sales of Consumables:
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospec(ng and pitching to closing deals related to mining
machinery consumables, wear & Tear parts, and accessories.
- Provide technical exper(se to customers, ensuring op(mal product selec(on and applica(on
based on their opera(onal needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements, opera(onal challenges, and
equipment usage to offer tailored solu(ons.
2. Customer Rela_onship Management:
- Build and nurture rela(onships with key stakeholders, including mine operators, procurement
teams, and maintenance managers.
- Ensure excellent a4er-sales support by coordina(ng with internal and external teams to
address product and service concerns.
- Proac(vely recommend suitable wear parts parts and consumables based on customer
opera(onal cycles.
3. Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Conduct market research to iden(fy new business opportuni(es and customer needs.
- Track compe(tors, market trends, and product innova(ons to maintain the companys
compe((ve edge.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets and expand market share.
4. Product Applica_on & Technical Support:
- Conduct product demonstra(ons and presenta(ons, showcasing the features and benefits of
a4er-sales products.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure smooth product installa(on, opera(on, and
post-sale support.
5. Sales Repor_ng & Performance Tracking:
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management review.
- Monitor customer feedback to improve product offerings and service quality.
- Log all client interac(ons and visits in the CRM system for tracking and follow-up.
Qualifica_ons & Skills:
- Educa_onal Background: Degree in mechanical engineering, Mining Engineering, or
equivalent.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in Techno-Commercial Sales to mining customers,
par(cularly in consumables, wear & tear parts, and a4er-sales products.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of surface miners, road headers , and related
mining equipment.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of mee(ng or exceeding sales targets with strong
nego(a(on, communica(on, and rela(onship-building skills.
- Loca_on & Travel: Based in Kolkata with extensive travel to mining sites and customer
loca(ons as required.

- Strong technical and product knowledge, specifically in the mining industry.
- Excellent rela(onship management and customer service skills.
- Self-mo(vated and target-driven with a proven ability to drive sales growth.
- High level of adaptability, able to understand both technical specific (ons and commercial
aspects of the business.
