We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Kannada Teacher to teach Grades 6, 7, and 8 (ICSE curriculum) and PUC students. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and the ability to inspire students to develop proficiency and appreciation for the Kannada language and literature.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Kannada language and literature as per ICSE and PUC syllabus guidelines Plan and deliver structured lessons focusing on grammar, prose, poetry, composition, and comprehension Prepare students for internal assessments, board examinations, and competitive standards Design lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and question papers Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback Encourage reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills in Kannada Integrate cultural and literary aspects of Kannada heritage into teaching Maintain classroom discipline and promote an engaging learning environment Participate in academic planning, staff meetings, and school activities Communicate student progress effectively with parents and school authorities Qualifications Bachelor's / Master's degree in Kannada or related field B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred) Thorough knowledge of ICSE and PUC Kannada curriculum
