Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Kannada to Grades 3-5 as per CBSE syllabus, prescribed textbooks, and learning outcomes. Prepare structured lesson plans focusing on Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing (LSRW) skills. Develop students' proficiency in Kannada grammar, vocabulary, sentence formation, and creative writing. Encourage spoken Kannada through conversations, role plays, storytelling, recitation, and classroom discussions. Use activity-based, experiential, and learner-centric teaching methods suitable for upper primary learners. Integrate art integration, cultural elements, and local context into language teaching. Conduct formative and summative assessments as per CBSE assessment norms. Design worksheets, projects, and assignments to reinforce language concepts. Maintain accurate records of student performance, assessments, and attendance. Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support to slow learners and enrichment activities for advanced learners. Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement. Participate in school events, language-related activities, competitions, and professional development programs. Collaborate with teachers of other subjects for interdisciplinary learning. Adhere to school policies, child safety guidelines, and professional ethics.

Educational Qualifications (As per CBSE Norms):

Bachelor's Degree in Kannada

or related subject from a recognized university

B.Ed

(mandatory)/ M.Ed/M.A

Experience:

Minimum

1-3 years of teaching experience

in primary/upper primary classes preferred Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude may apply

Required Skills:

Excellent command over

Kannada language and grammar

Ability to teach language concepts clearly and effectively Strong classroom management and child-handling skills Good communication skills in Kannada and English Creative and engaging teaching approach Basic ICT skills (smart board, digital resources) Strong proficiency in
