Departmental Role & Responsibilities :


1. Review & Monitor performance of the line/section.


2. Establish job priorities and time frames for personal reporting to him.


3. Prepare AOP budget with GL & get approval for his line/section.


4. Monitor, co-ordinate & control the activities of personnel reporting to him.


5. Establish & Review KRA of personnel reporting to him.


6. Exercise the administrative controls as per Personnel department guidelines.


7. Minimize the Breakdown loss on machine/equipment in respective area by breakdown analysis.


8. Support to Project / ME dept. for Machine shifting and erection activity.


9. Prepare critical spare parts list.


10. Carry out calibration activity and AMC services as per plan.


11. Prepare document related to QEHS & get approval


12. Prepare autonomous maintenance check sheet & handover to concern machine owner.


13. Attend machines under breakdown. Maintain machine history cards.


14. Establish, review & monitor Machine Spare Management System & maintenance expenses, oil management system within line/section.


15. Plan and execute Planned, Preventive, and Predicative Maintenance Activities for machines and equipment's.


16. Timely update & get approval for QMS/EMS document.


17. Implementation of IMS Objectives, Targets & Programmes & get approval from UL.


18. Participate to Investigate root cause of various incident (Accident, Near miss, repetitive, Major, costly Break-down) Investigate Accidents with support from the Safety Officer.


19. Prepare ,review & update status of Corrective & Preventive actions, implementation of actions generated through various


20. Attend training Programmes as per schedules communicated to him like EHSMS, QMS, other personal development training, seminars.


21. Submission of necessary IMS related data to IMS Core Team Member/Sr. Management


22. Ensure compliance to EHSMS throughout the department.


23. Review, monitor & control the "Monitoring &Measuring "parameter which is related to EHS & QMS.


24. Identify the required competence & training needs for the maintenance manpower


25. Ensure timely testing (Mock-drill) of Emergency Plan (OEP) in his line/section.


26. Share the Top management communication to down level.


27. Conduct risk analysis


28. Supplier Re-Evaluation


29. Responsible for his own unsafe act & resolution of unsafe conditions reported by internal customers
