Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Kafka Architect

to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade data streaming solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in

Apache Kafka

, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and strong problem-solving skills to support high-performance, scalable, and resilient data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and design enterprise-level

Kafka-based data streaming platforms

. Define best practices for

Kafka cluster setup, scaling, monitoring, and security

. Collaborate with development and data engineering teams to design

event-driven microservices

. Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and fault-tolerant Kafka deployments. Lead

performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization

of Kafka environments. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to teams. Work with stakeholders to align Kafka solutions with business needs.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of overall IT experience with

4+ years in Kafka architecture and design

. Strong knowledge of

Apache Kafka (including Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, Schema Registry)

. Expertise in

event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and messaging platforms

. Hands-on experience with

cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

and

containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

. Strong background in

Java/Scala/Python

for Kafka integration. Experience with

monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Confluent Control Center)

. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
