Lead production and procurement team on all new product introduction and ramp-up.
Conduct relevant CAD and DFMEA steps from internal designs to design for manufacturing
Collaborate with all teams to develop prototype, failure analysis, and improvements.
Plan, design and develop roadmaps for the team on product-specific testing, certification, and market launch
Identify and develop supplier partners and enable the transfer of knowledge.
Engineer solutions that are manufacturable and within cost guidelines
Work with thin metal parts across different processing techniques
Upgrade and industrialize fabricators
Build new networks of manufacturers and fabricators
Lead vendor development and procurement for all electronics products
Collaborate with Mechanical design, CFD, Electrical Engineering, and Design teams to ensure product functionality, quality, price expectations
Optimize manufacturing cost and time where relevant
Develop and implement methodologies and plans to ensure the use of sustainable materials and processes in the product manufacturing.
Build in-house tweaking and maintenance capabilities based on expected manufacturing challenges
Enforce high quality and tolerance standards for each part designed, fabricated, and assembled
Deal with multi-national vendors and product pricing, procurement, hedging.
