Job Summary

We are seeking high quality video producer based in New Delhi to produce videos in the areas of capacity building, agriculture and rural livelihoods. This is a great opportunity for filmmakers who want to develop creative videos for rural communities on promoting innovative practices that can improve their quality of life. As a video producer, the position would be required to research and conceptualize as well as shoot and edit the videos on various themes. If you have good technical video production skills along with creativity, a passion to work with rural communities, and a self-starter attitude, then join us in a result-oriented team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in production of high quality videos in the field of agriculture, climate change, Gender, Digital literacy and other thematic areas.
• Coordinate the development of regional-language versions of training videos
• Assisting in producing the series of videos to be made on each of the themes identified. Follow the production schedule according to the agreed timelines.
• Provide assistance in producing locally relevant videos, including conducting field research in rural areas for content identification, collaboration with regional teams and experts for storyboard development, concept testing, field shoot with rural communities and editing the videos.
• Provide assistance in producing videos that not only meet quality standards, but are also relevant, easy to understand, engaging and motivating for a rural audience. Ensure that videos are creative and inspiring and can become \'model\' videos for community production teams.
• Coordinate and manage all production logistics at the field level.
• Collaborate with the regional teams and M&E team to assess the impact of the videos.
• Travel to domestic and international project locations for research, testing and shoot.
• Support the Training Department in its other work as per need.
• Provide video production support to regional teams.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors and/or Masters in Media and Communication, or any other relevant degree.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably with some experience of video production in rural areas.
• Have advanced knowledge in all aspects of video production (voice over, animation, fiction, documentary), including research, scripting, shoot and edit. Should be able to work with various camera models and Final Cut Pro.
• Should have produced at least one professional quality video from conceptualization to edited product independently. Should share video products developed by them.
• Should demonstrate strong creative and storytelling abilities through their video products.
• Must be open to a more collective style of video production, taking inputs openly, and building on learning and experiences of other team members.
• Must be a self-starter who takes initiatives and can make things happen at the field level.
• Independent profile, willing to meet deadlines
• Extremely strong collaboration and coordination skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Commitment to working with rural communities, and willingness to travel to rural areas regularly
