Junior Underwriter - Casualty

Location
Mumbai , India
Price and maintain casualty treaties with focus on Motor & Accident Your job
  • Treaty pricing in the pricing platform
  • Post renewal treaty maintenance in coordination with the finance team
  • Preparing PPT for various internal and external presentations
  • Analysing client information deck, quarterly performance to update the market summary/statistics
  • Client/broker interaction
  • Exposure analysis and underlying coverages
  • Reinsurance Wordings
  • Guidelines and internal processes
  • Regular interaction with Regional Centre
  • Adhoc activities – liaise with claims, fac underwriters, client managers periodically
Your profile
  • Actuarial student with at least 4-5 examination passed
  • Graduation with 2-3 years of pricing experience for retail products in Indian market
  • Excel analytical skill
  • Basic understanding of reinsurance contracts, good communication skill
Good to Have: PowerBI, SAS, Macro Competencies:
  • Understanding of Indian insurance market and retail products (especially motor and accident)
  • Analysis of run-off triangles and analyse portfolio from historical information
  • Run dashboards for Casualty CoB from various data sources
