Tech Support Engineering @ Rebel Support Engineering @ Rebel comprises most of the components of a customer-centric internet commerce company and problem statements of scalable and distributed systems. While we work on open-source, cloud-managed, and enterprise tech stacks in Frontend (web/mobile), Backend (API layers), Caching, Async Processing/Queuing, Databases (SQL, NoSQL), ERP (SAP), CRM, Analytics, Big Data (Hadoop, Spark, MongoDB, etc), Data Science (ML), etc, we also work/evaluate on many emerging tech stacks like NLP, AI/IoT, Robotics + Automation, Bots, Voice, Vision computing, Blockchain, etc to solve many use cases around different verticals of FoodTech. The teams have built more than 40 different systems in-house to tackle the massive complexity of a multi-brand operation while keeping business metrics supremely efficient and optimized. Tech support is Level 1 & 2 frontlines to deep dive into systems (of any of the tech stacks as per the expertise and learning intentions) as much as possible and minimize the production tickets going to L3 Dev/Product Support. Support engineering plays a pivotal role in providing greater customer experiences on our systems/ applications and to provide graceful experiences in case of breakdowns. The Role We are on the lookout for someone who is passionate about Tech Support with customer-first thinking to provide stability to our systems and go to any extent to provide superior customer/end-user experiences. In this role, you will mainly be responsible for Diagnose Production issues, Define proper priority/severity, Do the RCA, and Provide timely response/fix to stakeholders and/or consumers. Assist users (internal or external) Suggest overall product improvements, such as features that customers want Proactively evaluate engineering processes and provide recommendations to increase efficiency Identify & automate solutions to repeated issues Follow up with the right teams (development/infra/product etc) to get the issue closure - Supporting, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems (Microservices) Overall, you must be having systematic problem-solving approach, attention to detail, a customer-firstmindset, multitasking, technical know-how and a strong sense of ownership to drive problems toresolution.
