Job Description


Own and develop the Service Design & Transition policy, process and governance structure. . Undertake where required the role of Service Design and Service Transition Manager for multiple projects. careers.fidelityinternational.com . Work with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that all new and modified services are designed and transitioned in a supportable and maintainable position when entering business as usual (BAU) . Ensure stakeholders are satisfied with the transitioned product/service. . Liase between Product Owners, Service Owners, Project Managers, Operational Teams, Service Delivery managers, TechHub and Service Management to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of new and modified products/services. . Ensure that deliverables are produced in-line with the service design package, service transition plan and ensure service readiness testing is complete and service acceptance criteria have been met. . Work with stakeholders to ensure clarity on the division of responsibilities for service components using a RACI matrix and resulting support model. . Ensure all support and delivery functions, including operational teams, are aware, prepared, and capable of supporting any new and changed services, via Knowledge transfer - workshops, briefings and documentation such as support models etc as appropriate. . Verify that all operating procedures, team interfaces, tooling, inter-tool exchanges and service knowledge are documented. . Own and manage production of the Service Design Package (SDP). . Own and managing the Service Acceptance Criteria (SAC). . Define with each project team the Early Life Support (ELS) period, exit criteria and acceptance of risks into BAU to achieve successful project closure. . Take responsibility for Continual Service Improvement Initiatives within the Service Design and Service Transition Management discipline by identifying and leading initiatives. . Be a subject matter expert for Service Design and Transition best practices. . Ensure BAU Service Governance processes and meetings are in place for the function and that documented controls are evidenced and reported on. . Ensure that KPIs are defined and reported on which demonstrate the success of the Design and Transition
