Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Desktop Engineer to support and manage enterprise-level IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining laptops, desktops, printers, and related peripherals. In addition, the role requires hands-on experience in networking, server administration, and firewall management.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide installation, configuration, and maintenance support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network issues efficiently. Manage Active Directory, user accounts, and system policies. Perform routine server checks, patching, and basic administration tasks. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. Provide first-level firewall monitoring and assist in configuration changes. Ensure endpoint security and compliance with organizational policies. Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated issues. Provide end-user support and training when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years of experience as a Desktop Engineer / IT Support Engineer in an enterprise environment. Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11), MS Office, enterprise applications, and printer management. Hands-on experience with networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, switches, routers). Basic server administration knowledge (Windows Server, Linux preferred). Experience with firewall systems (Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, or similar). Familiarity with ITSM tools and ticketing systems. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
