Role Overview

We are seeking a

Junior Draughtsman

to join our design team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing structural drawings and documentation under the guidance of senior engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in structural drafting within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare structural drawings (footings, slabs, beams, columns, bracing, etc.) using AutoCAD. REVIT AND BIM Interpret engineering sketches, design notes, and markups to produce accurate drafting outputs. Assist in preparing documentation for council and construction approvals. Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with Australian codes and practices. Coordinate with engineers and other team members to deliver timely project outputs.
Qualifications & Skills

Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering/Drafting or equivalent. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(knowledge of Revit will be an added advantage). Basic understanding of structural elements (footings, slabs, beams). Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Willingness to learn and adapt to drafting standards and processes.
