Roles and Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Sales

Approach and engage with potential customers (fleet owners, truck operators, service centres, etc.)

Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate truck spare parts.

Provide price quotes, product information, and availability.

Follow up on leads and inquiries to convert them into sales.

Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

Product Knowledge

Gain thorough knowledge of all heavy truck spare parts (e.g., filters, brake systems, axles, clutches, suspension parts).

Stay updated on new product launches, specifications, and compatibility with various truck models (Tata, Ashok Leyland, BharatBenz, etc.).

Educate customers about part usage, durability, and maintenance benefits.

Sales Support & Documentation

Prepare and submit sales orders, invoices, and delivery notes.

Update sales tracking software with customer information and sales progress.

Assist in stock checking and ensure timely delivery coordination with the warehouse.

Market Intelligence

Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity collect feedback from customers to inform pricing, product selection, and service improvement.

Targets & Reporting

Work towards assigned monthly/quarterly sales targets.

Report daily sales activities and customer interactions to the Sales Manager.

Participate in regular sales meetings and contribute insights.

Support Responsibilities

Attend product training sessions and workshops.

Assist senior sales executives in client meetings and negotiations.

Support marketing initiatives like exhibitions, roadshows, and service camps.

Coordinate with service teams for technical assistance when required.

Key Skills Required

Good communication and negotiation skills.

Basic technical understanding of heavy vehicles and spare parts.

Customer service orientation.

Time management and organizational skills.

Proficiency in MS Office tools.

Experience:

Should have prior knowledge/Experince in Heavy Truck Spare parts
