The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with potential customers who require machine tools and related support services. The role demands proactive market exploration, customer engagement, and conversion of leads into business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect and identify potential customers in the manufacturing, engineering, and related industries.
Establish and maintain strong business relationships with decision-makers and influencers.
Conduct field visits, cold calls, and follow-ups to generate qualified leads.
Understand customer requirements and present suitable machine tool solutions.
Coordinate with technical and service teams to provide product demonstrations and after-sales support.
Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and update CRM/records regularly.
Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to company growth.
Collect market intelligence, including competitor activities and customer feedback.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows as required.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or related discipline (preferred).
1-3 years of sales experience in industrial products, preferably machine tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
Self-motivated with a result-oriented approach.
Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
Basic knowledge of machine tools and manufacturing processes (training will be provided).
Performance Indicators:
Number of qualified leads generated.
Customer visits and meetings conducted.
Conversion of leads into sales.
Revenue targets achieved.
