Responsibilities of a junior resident

Clinical duties

: Taking detailed patient histories, performing physical examinations, and making clinical diagnoses.

Diagnostic skills

: Performing and interpreting relevant investigations like imaging and laboratory tests.

Surgical training

: Assisting in and performing surgeries under supervision, covering a wide spectrum of procedures.

Patient care

: Developing and executing comprehensive treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical interventions.

Emergency management

: Handling emergencies efficiently.

Documentation

: Maintaining accurate and detailed case records.

Patient communication

: Demonstrating excellent communication skills to counsel patients and their families.
