Job Description

*Patient Care

: Junior residents are involved in providing direct patient care. They examine patients, take medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and order relevant diagnostic tests to assess the patient's condition.

Ward Rounds: They participate in daily ward rounds with the medical team, which includes senior residents, attending physicians, and consultants. During rounds, they discuss patient cases, treatment plans, and progress.

Treatment Planning: Based on the patient's condition and test results, junior residents are involved in developing treatment plans and prescribing medications or therapies under the supervision of senior physicians.

Procedures: Junior residents may assist in or perform medical procedures, such as suturing wounds, inserting catheters, administering injections, or conducting simple medical interventions.

Documentation: Accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient medical records is essential. Junior residents are responsible for maintaining patient charts, updating medical histories, and recording their findings and treatment plans.

Emergency Care: In emergency situations, junior residents may be part of the rapid response team or the code blue team to provide immediate medical care to critically ill patients.

Educational Activities: Junior residents may participate in teaching medical students and interns, helping them learn medical skills and techniques.

Research and Learning: They engage in medical research and continuous learning to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and treatment protocols.

Communication: Junior residents communicate with patients and their families to explain treatment plans, answer questions, and provide emotional support.

Collaboration: Junior residents work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, pharmacists, and therapists, to ensure coordinated patient care.

On-Call Duties: Depending on the hospital's schedule, junior residents may have on-call duties, where they are available to handle urgent patient cases during after-hours.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
