Junior Resident (JR) - General Surgery

Job Summary:

We are hiring

Junior Residents

to support patient care in the

General Surgery Department

. The role involves working closely with senior residents and consultants in a multidisciplinary setting. Candidates will assist in patient management, clinical rounds, diagnostic procedures, and departmental duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide immediate medical care for surgical emergencies and assist in the management of acute general surgical cases. Participate in daily ward rounds, patient monitoring, documentation, and surgical case discussions. Assist in pre-operative evaluation, intra-operative procedures, and post-operative care under supervision. Perform and assist in diagnostic and therapeutic surgical procedures as per departmental protocols. Maintain accurate surgical patient records and ensure timely follow-up of investigations and treatment plans. Coordinate with nursing staff, anesthesia, and allied healthcare teams to ensure efficient surgical care. Support undergraduate medical students during clinical postings and contribute to bedside teaching.

Qualifications:

MBBS

from a recognized medical college. Valid registration with the Medical Council. Fresh graduates or those with prior clinical experience are welcome to apply.
