The Junior Quality Incharge is responsible for assisting in monitoring and maintaining quality standards for products and processes. This role involves routine inspection, documentation, and coordination with production teams to ensure that quality requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
:
Perform in-process and final product inspections.
Assist in implementing quality control procedures and policies.
Monitor raw materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Document inspection results and report non-conformities.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for corrective actions.
Assist in calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments.
Support internal audits and help with quality reports.
Maintain proper records of quality checks, tests, and related documentation.
Identify areas for improvement and suggest quality-enhancing measures.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards.
Qualifications
:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in quality assurance/control (freshers may be considered).
Basic knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP depending on industry).
Familiarity with measuring tools (e.g., vernier calipers, micrometers) is a plus.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Skills
:
Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
Understanding of production processes.
Willingness to learn and adapt to company standards.
Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
