Quality Control - Junior Supervisor

Candidate must have good experience on Quality control in Printing & Packaging Industry. Globe Print N Pack has opening for QC Personnel.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Incoming material inspection:

Check raw materials ( Paper, PP sheets , PET rolls, Moulded items etc) for quality, dimensions, and compliance with specifications.

In-process checks:

Monitor packaging lines to ensure correct printing, die cutting , folding, sealing, pasting , and overall presentation.
Finished goods inspection:

Verify that packaged products meet visual, functional, and regulatory standards before release.

Defect identification & reporting:

Detect issues such as misprints, incorrect barcodes, poor sealing, or damaged packaging and escalate promptly.

Documentation:

Maintain inspection records, QC reports, and non-conformance logs for traceability.

Compliance monitoring:

Ensure adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), ISO 9001: 2015 standards, and industry-specific packaging regulations.

Collaboration:

Work with Production, Warehouse, and Senior QC staff to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Support audits:

Assist in internal and external audits by providing QC records and demonstrating compliance.

Continuous improvement:

Suggest minor improvements in packaging processes to reduce defects and enhance efficiency.

Skills & Competencies

Attention to detail:

Ability to spot defects in packaging materials and finished goods.

Technical knowledge:

Familiarity with packaging machinery, sealing methods, and coding systems.

Basic measurement skills:

Use of callipers, gauges, and other QC tools for raw material testing.

Communication skills:

Clear reporting of findings to supervisors and production teams.

Teamwork:

Willingness to support senior QC staff and collaborate across departments.

Problem-solving:

Ability to identify root causes of packaging defects and suggest corrective measures.

Qualifications

Fresh graduates or candidates with 0-2 years of QC/QA experience in packaging or manufacturing industry. Knowledge of ISO standards, GMP, is an advantage.
