About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic

Junior QA Engineer

to join our growing team in Mohali. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundational understanding of quality assurance and a passion for ensuring high-quality product delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in

manual testing

and a basic working knowledge of

automation testing tools

.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute manual test cases and report bugs in a structured format. Understand software requirements and write effective test cases. Work closely with developers to identify and resolve issues. Perform functional, regression, and UI testing. Maintain test documentation and update it as the product evolves. Support QA leads in implementing test strategies and plans. Learn and gradually contribute to automation test suites.

Required Skills:

6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in

manual testing

. Familiarity with bug tracking tools like

JIRA

,

Bugzilla

, or similar. Basic knowledge of

automation tools

(e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Postman for API testing). Understanding of SDLC and STLC. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to testing APIs or using tools like Postman. Basic scripting knowledge (Java, Python, or any other). Understanding of Agile methodologies.
