JOB DESCRIPTION - JUNIOR PTI (Physical Training Instructor)

Job Summary:

The Junior PTI will be responsible for conducting physical education classes, sports activities, and fitness sessions for students. The role involves ensuring overall physical development, discipline, and safety during all sports and outdoor activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily physical education classes as per the school schedule. Teach students various physical exercises, sports rules, and game techniques. Organize regular practice sessions for multiple sports. Maintain discipline and ensure the safety of students during activities. Assist in organizing inter-house and inter-school sports competitions. Monitor students' fitness levels and encourage active participation. Maintain sports equipment and ensure proper usage. Support senior PTI in planning annual sports events. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyle habits among students.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of physical education, sports rules, and fitness training. Good communication and instruction skills. Ability to handle large groups of students. Energetic, disciplined, and responsible approach. First-aid knowledge is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent. 3-4 years of relevant experience in a school or sports academy.
