About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Junior Project Manager

to join our growing team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, hands-on project coordination experience, and a proven track record in managing end-to-end project delivery using Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience in delivering successful IT or banking implementations is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and milestones in alignment with client and internal expectations Create and manage detailed project plans using tools such as

Excel

MS Project

Develop and execute sprint plans; track and manage the product backlog using

Agile

practices (Scrum, Kanban) Ensure smooth execution across all SDLC phases - requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support Track project progress, manage risks, and ensure delivery under defined timelines and budget constraints Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, UX, and business stakeholders Lead sprint ceremonies, client demos, and retrospectives Interface with clients regularly to provide updates, gather feedback, and manage expectations Maintain strong documentation, reporting, and project traceability artifacts Ensure project delivery follows best practices for

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of hands-on experience in project coordination or junior project management roles Solid understanding and working experience with the

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Proficiency in

Microsoft Excel

Gantt charts

, and project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) Good knowledge of

Agile methodologies

and tools like

Jira

Azure DevOps

Experience in delivering IT/banking solutions or enterprise software projects Strong communication skills and ability to handle clients, stakeholders, and internal teams Understanding of secure delivery principles and regulatory compliance, especially in banking/finance Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe) or PMP/Prince2 Foundation Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with collaborative tools like Confluence, Figma, Miro Understanding of Change Management and Release Management processes Team leadership or mentoring experience is a plus
