Role Overview:

The Junior Production Engineer will assist in the manufacturing and assembly of commercial kitchen ventilation and HVAC equipment such as hoods, ducting, blowers, electrostatic precipitators (ESPs), make-up air units, and grease filters. This role involves hands-on shop floor work, production planning, and quality checks to ensure that products meet design and safety standards.

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in day-to-day production activities on the floor. Support fabrication, assembly, and finishing of kitchen ventilation equipment. Coordinate with design and quality teams to ensure production accuracy and consistency. Follow production schedules and report progress to the Production Supervisor. Inspect materials, components, and finished products for quality compliance. Ensure adherence to safety and housekeeping standards within the workshop. Maintain production documentation, checklists, and process records. Suggest improvements in workflow and equipment utilization.

Skills & Attributes:

Basic understanding of fabrication, sheet metal work, and assembly processes. Knowledge of manufacturing drawings, measuring instruments, and tools. Good communication and teamwork skills. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
