Role Overview
The Junior Project Coordinator will assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring healthcare projects in Karnataka. This role supports senior project leads and ensures smooth day-to-day operations, data collection, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support:
Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and documentation.
Field Coordination:
Support field teams in executing healthcare initiatives and resolving operational challenges.
Data Collection & Reporting:
Gather project-related data, maintain records, and prepare periodic reports.
Stakeholder Communication:
Coordinate with local communities, healthcare providers, and internal teams.
Compliance & Quality:
Ensure adherence to organizational standards and project guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Management, or related field.
2-3 / 0-2 years of experience in project coordination or healthcare operations. Experience working with NGOs, healthcare programs, or donor-funded projects.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Basic proficiency in MS Office and willingness to learn project management tools for effective use of digital platforms such as Microsoft Teams and WHIMS for project collaboration and reporting.
Ability to travel and work in rural/remote areas.
Preferred Attributes
Familiarity with healthcare programs or community development projects.
Knowledge of local language and cultural context.
Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
